Fall TV 2013 Part 1 Review
It’s simple I watch a lot TV and movies and well anything on a screen. So summer ending is a blow, big blockbusters gone (sad). But TV shows are coming back (Yay) and because it is fall we get a bunch of new ones for me to judge and ridicule Mwahahaha! Others have done something similar, The Verbal Spew Review (she’s great) has done a review of the fall schedule so check that out. The way I am reviewing them is based off the shows first three episodes because that’s how long I watch a show before I decide to keep watching a new show or drop it like led brick. Also I will not review the comedy series until the last post. So here come my views, if you think there is a show I am not watching that I should please bring it up because I am always looking for suggestions.
Box Office Predictions (21-23rd June) Results
Wow I was so off this week, my predictions were terrible. However it’s been a great weekend for the studios, cinema profits in decline my ass. Monsters University took the weekend with a stellar taking over the weekend. However Pixar’s take wasn’t shocking at all, what was shocking is Brad Pitts War on Zombies which took an unbelievable second place. Man of Steel failed to fly above the new comers but hardly bombed with a respectable take in third place. Go watch some movies and let’s look at the breakdowns.
Box Office Predictions (21-23rd June)
Another week of new releases and these won’t be any easier, let’s hope I get lucky and make some good predictions. This weekend we have two releases, first is Monsters University a highly anticipated sequel and second is World War Z a new Zombie film starring Brad Pitt. But we also have Man of Steel fighting to keep his high flying position at number one. Will Pixar take the win? Will World War Z shock us all or will Man of Steel keep the high ground? Go watch some movies and let’s look at the breakdowns.
Top Ten Kids Films of 2000-2010 Part 1
Were back to the top ten’s and this could be the last of 2000-2010, so let me make it a good one. Kid’s films, mainly animations which let’s face it are the best. I am a sucker for these films as I grew up with a few of the earlier ones and watched the later ones with my cousins so I didn’t seem weird. So many films missed the cut off date, for example A Bug’s Life (1998), Tarzan (1999), The Iron Giant (1999) and Toy Story 2 (1999). Good year for kids films, but I am unwilling to change the almighty rules of the top ten. For I have spoken my gibberish! You know the rules but still at the end vote for favourite film from part 1, then in part 2 being released Monday do the same, then after a while I will post the results.
